From day care, we learned “You get what you get, and you don’t get upset.” And now Henrietta has introduced a corollary: “You can get upset, but it won’t change the color of your popsicle.”

[Henrietta is opening the door at Charlotte’s day care.] Mom: Wow, Henrietta, you’re strong! That’s a heavy door! Henrietta: I bet I could lift a box with lots of pudding in it.

Henrietta is four! And she was a flower girl! And we had a great visit in Minnesota. From Henrietta’s checkup: 40 3/4″ tall 36 lb 4 oz 3 shots!
