We took advantage of the Veteran’s Day holiday to take a super-long weekend trip to visit the Rotas in Waterloo. Good adventures: the zoo, playgrounds, and great family time!

Etta: Where do ribs come from?

Daddy: Well, they’re pork—they come from pigs.

Etta: What else comes from pigs?

Daddy: Bacon. And ham.

Etta: Do all pink things come from pigs?
