9 months old and eating zucchini
Henrietta turned 9 months old yesterday! Other exciting recent activities:
- First playground swing: we went to the playground with Jenn and Toby, and Henrietta tried out the swing and loved it. Grandma Kathi posted pictures; we’ll get ours up soon too.
- Zucchini. We steamed and pureed some zucchini, thinking we’d end up mixing it with other things. She tried it last night and enjoyed it all on its own! That was a surprise!
- 9-month checkup: 28 inches tall (about average), 16 lbs 12 oz (kinda lean), and 47cm head circumference (literally off the chart). We had the unexpected fun of getting blood drawn for her first lead test — she did surprisingly well, but it still wasn’t any fun.
