A milestone only a parent could love

The milestone: this morning, Etta peed on the potty for the first time. Whee! So far just the once, and it was right after she woke up, so perhaps she wasn’t entirely awake. But still!
Another little funny: at day care yesterday, Etta told Mary (her teacher) that she was going to sit next to her because “you’re filthy!” I wonder what she thinks filthy means…
